Today, I feel peace.
It's been a rough week. I think it's been a rough week for a lot of people. So many questions. So much uncertainty.
I went for a socially distanced walk today with a friend I haven't seen in months. After the walk, I saw an email with some good news about our home. It's amazing how encouraging even tiny connections, or tiny acts of kindness, tiny bits of good news, or confirmation of moving forward can be.
Light streams through my window and it reminds me that there's still hope. Nothing lasts forever. Change happens whether we're aware of it in the process or not.
We tend to underestimate the little things, or overlook the little blessings in the midst of difficulty and unknowns.
So today, I choose to be thankful for this moment and all the little things that are going well. Sometimes we find it's the little things that are actually the big things.
Have you found glimmers of goodness in the midst of uncertainty?
